Argyl C. Norman

Argyl C. "Ike" Norman, 62, of Rt. 1, Mt. Clare, died at 3 P.M. Thursday, Aug. 6 in St. Mark's Hospital, Salt Lake City, UT, following an unexpected illness.  He was born in Clarksburg, May 6, 1920, a son of the late Bryan E. Norman and Verna Fox Norman, who survives.  In addition to his mother, he is survived by one son Barry Dean Norman, Escondido, CA; two daughters, Cindy Sue Norman, Cleveland, OH, Jan Renee Norman, at home; four brothers, Robert Kenneth Norman, Ogden, UT, James A. and Bernard L. Norman, both of Rt. 2 Mt. Clare, Bryan Junior Norman, Morehead City, NC; three sisters, Mrs. Albert (Agnes) Clapp, Lenoir, NC, Mrs. Ralph (Mary) Maltba, Rt. 1 Mt. Clare, Mrs. Richard (Pauline) Cook, Indianapolis, IN; one grandson, Keith Aaron Norman, Painsville, OH; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by two brothers, William Keith and Richard Edward Norman.

Mr. Norman was a member of the Chub Run Community Church and had retired from Ford Motor Company, Cleveland, OH.  He served during World War II in the U.S. Air Force.
