Phyllis Carol Norman

Phyllis Carol Norman, 58, of Harding Lane, died on Sunday, April 6, 1997, at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore.  She was born in Rosedale, PA on November 5, 1938, a daughter of the late Virgil Lewis Baughman and Ruth Pauline Norman Baughman, who survives in Craigsville.

Surviving are her husband, James A. Norman, whom she married on Oct. 6, 1960.  She is also survived by four brothers, Raymond Baughman, Tioga, Stephen Baughman, Boggs, Joe Baughman, Craigsville, and John Baughman, Charleston; four sisters, Alice McCoy, Belington, Sharon Elwart, Inwood, Carman Johnson, Tioga, and Verla Taylor, Letts; several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by one brother, Robert Baughman.

Mrs. Norman had previously worked for the Hazel Atlas Glass Company in Clarksburg in the late 1950s, and accompanied her husband with his U.S. Naval career in various assignments in the world for 20 years.  She was a Methodist by faith.
