Mrs. Verna Fox Norman, 92, of 88 Chub Run Rd., Mt. Clare, died at 12:05 A.M. Monday, March 1, 1993 at her residence following an extended illness.  She was born in Mt. Clare on Feb. 11, 1901, a daughter of the late Robert H. and Melinda Morris Fox.  Preceding her in death was her husband, Bryan E. Norman, who died in 1967.

Surviving are four sons and three daughters, Agnes V. Norman, Hickory, NC, Mrs. Ralph "Mary" Maltba, Chub Run Rd., Robert K. Norman, Ogden, UT, James A. Norman, Inwood, WV, Bryan J. Norman, Morehead City, NC, Mrs. Richard "Pauline" Cook, Indianapolis, IN, Bernard Norman, Chub Run Rd.; one sister, Roxie Dye, Mineral Wells, WV; twenty-eight grandchildren; thirty-three great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by three sons, four sisters, two brothers, and three grandchildren.

Mrs. Norman was a member of the Chub Run Community Church where she was a charter member and was a homemaker.
